Microsoft offers technical solutions for self-driving cars
Microsoft is talking with automakers about solutions for self-driving technology. The company is looking at potential applications of its cloud-based service, productivity suite and operating system. Microsoft’s Peggy Johnson was one the speakers of the Coverge technology conference in Hongkong Friday.
According to Johnson Microsoft could “certainly do the operating system” for a self-driving car. The technology asked car produces about their specific needs when it comes to autonomous cars, reported the Wall Street Journal.

“You’re sitting in the car for many, many minutes a day. Can that be part of your new office, can it be your new desk, a place where you actually get work done? We believe it can. Each of them had a little something different that they wanted.”
